Instructor - Founder
Rob James started Home James School of Motoring 8 years ago, after spending 2 years with a large national school. He has now been instructing for nearly 10 years. His reputation is based on outstanding customer service, and treating every single pupil as an individual. Driving is a very personal thing, and so teaching styles must be adapted in order to achieve fantastic results for each and every one. He loves helping pupils gain a huge life skill. For Rob to teach someone how to drive is a real privilege.
When Rob is not working he loves spending time with his daughters, Effie and Poppy, and family days out, enjoying everything his home town of Lymington and the new forest has to offer.
Andy Olden has been successfully helping pupils to gain their full licence for the past 14 years. Having taught nearly 1000 pupils over that time, Andy has an eye for detail, and knows precisely what is required to get the results you want, regularly achieving over 80% at the 1st attempt. Andy’s other interests include his classic car, travel and spending time doing dad stuff with his daughter, Ella.
Andy’s teaching style is chilled and relaxed, and making learning as fun as possible, with a huge emphasis on safe driving for life.

Andy has been instructing with Home James for just over two years and has already achieved a very impressive pass rate. Before coming into the industry, Andy was a PE teacher for 20 years, but after all that running around, decided a career of sitting down and reclining was much more him, as well as instructing.
